Ship in difficulties
Off the sea on Thursday, a large ship had got in to difficulty. The lifeboat had been launched so all was under control.
Very unusual for such a large vessel to be so close to the shore line. The life boat volunteers all around the North East coast and the rest of the country do such a fantastic job, and we are so grateful to all that do such a brave and selfless service to the community.
